Snow

I will start off by saying snow is not my favorite thing in the world.  In fact, nine times out of ten, I loathe it (I also really love the word loathe.  I throw it into my daily conversations often!)  So why and I complaining about snow?  Well we have snow on the ground.  I knew it was coming, but oh how I did not want to believe it.

I woke up (around 10:00 - meaning I got to sleep in for the first time in what seems like forever!) and ignored looking out of my window for as long as possible.  But like all good college students, I had to see how much snow I would have to remove before I could leave for campus, and I saw the snow.  All of it.  Floating down to land on my car which is buried in snow.

So I shuffled back to my room (I was looking out of my kitchen window), kept the blinds to my room shut, and got ready for class.  Now I am ready for class: my makeup is on, I put on my sweater (which is black with red and white and black argyle on it!!), my fuzzy snow boots are ready to be put on, and I am typing up this post... and dreading the snow.

But there are good things about snow... right?  It looks pretty (when I don't have to scoop it), it is fluffy and white (which reminds me of my dog Phoebe), and I am at college and not at home (so I don't have to scoop bunks to feed the little calvies).  So I guess it could be worse.

I will leave you with the lovely satellite photo I snagged from the internet, bundle up, and brave the fluffy white crap on the ground in search for higher education.

Stay warm!
Alexandra
