We've all seen them. Your friends have them (and you might even have one or two yourself). They are Spoon Rings. Some look really cool, others look okay, but they are all unique and that is what counts.... Well, last night I was getting ready to be a 'coat girl' at a party, and I was looking for earrings. I was scrounging around in my mom's jewelry when she pulled out her 'costume' jewelry. And there it was sitting. It was tarnished and a little unloved, but it grabbed my heart.
My mom was all like "Oh that ugly thing" (and meant it), but I was all like "OMG! Can I have it?" So she gave it to me and I cleaned it up (and now it is all sparkly!)
The design is cute. It is a flower on the end of the handle and it wraps around my pinkie finger wonderfully. There are little groves it in along the edges, and the longer I look at it, the more I am certain that it is from our silverware at home... interesting.
It kind of looks like this, but not.... There is a bit more of swirly stuff above the flower.
Now I order you (not really) to go out and find a funky spoon ring to show off!
